Due to the coronavirus the amount of pets being dumped has increased dramatically so we have decided to open our doors to all domestic animals for the time being. (Excluding birds due to Jenny’s health condition) We are going to be picking up animals for people who cannot or who do not want to bring them to us for as long as it is safe to do so but due to Jenny’s lung condition we are preparing to start self isolating soon. We are looking for people to volunteer to pick up animals if we are unable to from the persons home or at a pre arranged location and bring the animal to us in Waltham Abbey. All volunteers will need to be over the age of 18 and have their own transport. We will not allow anyone who is included or lives with anyone who is included in the ‘at risk’ group against the coronavirus. Volunteers will also need to show themselves as being judgement free. We just want to ensure that as many animals are safe during this pandemic as possible. For more information on becoming a volunteer, please ring Emma on 07854 833706. Please do not message us on here or email us about becoming a volunteer as we have very limited access to the internet at the moment.
